Zippy’s reopens fast food areas
HONOLULU (KHON2) — With the end of Safe Access Oahu and Safer Outside Maui, Zippy’s Restaurants is gradually introducing the return of fast food areas.
Seats have been closed since the start of the pandemic.

“When we reopened the restaurant food facilities, we did not reopen the fast food areas because we did not have the staff to check on vaccination status, as the various county programs required us to do. “said a spokesperson for Zippy’s Restaurants. Monday.
All foodservice restaurants have reopened in 2021 except for Dillingham – with no plans to reopen – and Koko Marina, which reopened in mid-February. Click here for more information on catering times – if not listed there is no catering facility on site.

- Pearl City
Zippy’s is still working on returning fast food areas for the remaining six unlisted locations.
Below are the March monthly promotions available through April 3:
- Blueberry Coffee Cake Square — A moist blueberry cake topped with blueberry filling and streusel.
- Chocolate Covered Yeast Donut — Yeast donut dipped in a rich chocolate glaze.
- Dream Cake 6″ — Three layer chocolate mousse cake filled and topped with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
- Korean Fried Tofu Plate and Breaded Tofu Burger with Korean Sauce — Available from Friday to Sunday in March.

Due to staffing issues that have plagued most businesses in Hawaii, Zippy’s has made some changes to hours and services in many locations.
