Yaamava ‘Resort & Casino will reopen the buffet; extend hours at Serrano Vista Café – Daily Breeze
The Yaamava ‘Resort & Casino in Highland is reopening its buffet and extending the opening hours of one of its new restaurants.
The Serrano Buffet will reopen on Wednesday, December 8, for dinner only, resort officials said.
Meanwhile, Serrano Vista Café, a restaurant that opened in Yaamava ‘over the summer for dinner service, started serving lunch on November 29 and will start serving breakfast on November 13. December.
The Serrano Buffet will operate from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, according to an email from Jenna Brady, spokesperson for the resort.
This is the first time that the buffet will be open to the public since mid-March 2020, when the property was still known as the San Manuel Casino.
Reservations will be required for the buffet and can be made through the Yaamava ‘website. According to the website, the price is $ 44.99 per person Sunday through Thursday and $ 64.95 per person Friday and Saturday.
Since the coronavirus pandemic, many buffets at tribal casinos in the region have been closed. While many Las Vegas casinos have reopened their buffets, some casinos in Southern California have abandoned the concept altogether, including Casino Pauma, Agua Caliente Casino Palm Springs, Harrah’s Resort Southern California, and Pala Casino, Spa & Resort.
The buffets at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino and Valley View Casino have since reopened.
At the Morongo Casino Resort and Spa, the old Potrero Canyon Buffet is reinvented as a buffet-style concept inspired by food halls and led by a famous chef.
The reopening of the Serrano Buffet is the latest gastronomic development of the Yaamava ‘Resort & Casino. The Pines Modern Steakhouse recently reopened in a new location. It moved from the second floor of the casino to the first floor, near the entrance to the hotel’s new tower, which debuts on December 13.
The new hotel tower features a lobby bar and lounge, 24-hour in-room dining, and on the 17th floor, the Y lounge, an exclusive space that offers food and drink to VIP guests. The complex also includes a swimming pool with a restaurant, but which won’t open until spring.
