‘Will definitely go back for more’: New Stamford Eatery buffet touted as ‘bargain’

For people who love Korean barbecue and lots of meat, a new restaurant in Fairfield County is for you.

Open for just two weeks in Stamford, Meat Love offers a buffet with a wide selection of meats for just $34.99 per person for its “soft” opening.

Yelpers and online reviewers love the place with many five star reviews.

A reviewer from Stamford wrote this about Meat Love: “For only $34.99 pp for the buffet dinner, it’s a bargain! Above all their meat is very fresh and marinated just right! Not too sweet , nor too salty! Will definitely be going back for more in the future!”

In case you have never visited a Korean barbecue restaurant before, you order from the various “packages” and the meat is brought to your table with all the treats, then you cook it on small grills which are embedded in the tables.

Ellen from Stamford had this to say, “I’ve been to every Korean restaurant in town/Queens and some restaurants are too sweet on the marinade, I love this restaurant that doesn’t add too much sugar/honey to the marinade. meat ! For this price, it’s definitely good quality meat!”

Meats include everything from pork jowls and bellies to spicy marinated chicken and brisket.

The buffet option includes all kinds of soups, rice and other goodies. Normal prices are between $40 and $50.

There’s some kind of weird notice on the menu that says if you don’t eat all the food on the table you’ll be charged $20 and no take out boxes allowed.

The restaurant enjoys a prime location in downtown Stamford at 485 Summer St.

Much of the seating is communal and comfortable.
