What is the most Googled fast food chain in West Virginia?

CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK) – Many of us have our fast food favorites, such as McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Taco Bell, Chick-fil-A, and more. But which string is the most searched on Google in West Virginia, and why?

Chick-fil-A is the most searched fast food chain in West Virginia and its neighboring states, according to my telescopea market intelligence and research start-up.

Chick-fil-A earned first place in 27 of the 50 US states, including West Virginia and its neighbors Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Maryland.

My Telescope also notes that Chick-fil-A had high search traffic in blue states like California and Massachusetts, despite the fact that the channel previous controversial positions regarding the LGBTQ+ community. In fact, My Telescope reports that channel growth is happening rapidly in these states.

To get the results, My Telescope measured each state’s top fast food restaurant rankings based on Google search volume when users search for a chain’s locations statewide. This is also known as “search share”, which calculates the comparable interest for a search term with a specified group of other search terms.

In other words, West Virginians search for Chick-fil-A the most because they want to know where the chain’s local franchises are.

According to Rodrigo Graviz, CEO of My Telescope, “Share of Search” provides accurate insight into what people in the area are searching for on Google, and therefore the data can be useful for local Chick-fil-A franchise owners. .

“Search share measures search data combined with sentiment analysis to give a more accurate measure of consumer and business purchase intent and demand,” Rodrigo said. “…When combined with specific keywords, search share data can yield valuable insights into what people are going to do, think, feel, and do. to buy.
