West Lothian is getting a new piri piri chicken fast food restaurant
Fans of Nando’s in Livingston’s The Center in West Lothian will soon have a new piri piri restaurant to sink their teeth into, as Pepe’s arrives in the county by 2022.
Pepe’s Piri Piri is the UK’s leading spicy chicken franchise, according to the Daily recordingand will soon open its doors to fast food fans in Bathgate.

Restaurant bosses have confirmed that the store will open in George Place in the city in just a few weeks, once construction is complete.
In a report by the Annual Industry of Eating Out, Pepe’s was fifth in the UK’s Top 10 Fast Food Brands, ranked by numerous fast food giants.
The only four ahead of the rising chicken franchise are global favorites McDonalds, KFC and Burger King, with UK and international brand Pret a Manger also beating Pepe’s into the top spot.
A spokesperson said: “Almost overnight, Pepe’s Piri Piri Chicken became the talk of the town.
“Our customers love the taste of our grilled-to-order chicken, which is surprisingly fresh and flavorful and has kept them coming back time and time again.
“They told their friends, who told others, and soon there were queues at the door. Families loved it. The kids loved it. Foodies loved it. Even vegetarians loved it. Yes, there is a vegetarian menu!

Pepe’s is also based in Edinburgh and has become one of the busiest fast food outlets in the UK since its inception in 2004.
The brand was first launched in London in 2004 and has since had nearly 50 stores in the UK alone, and has also opened stores in the US and Northern Ireland.
