Now her kitchen will prepare extra food at the busiest times – to bring “some hope” to those in need.

Director Tim said this was the second time W2 Buffet has worked with the board, having provided meals in 2019.

“The Middlesbrough Council Ward Security Team approached me last week and asked if we could do it again this year.

“2021 is a special and difficult year for most people as we are all going through the global pandemic, which is why the company is delighted to host the event again.

“As a local business, we believe the restaurant would not be as successful as it is today without the continued support of our customers.

“The whole W2 team, is extremely passionate about supporting the local community, so we are trying to make this Christmas special for those who find themselves on the streets and give them some hope and restore some dignity.”
