Warren Buffet, who just turned 92, loves feasting on colas, burgers and ice cream
Warren Buffett celebrated his 92nd birthday on August 30. Buffett, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, is the seventh richest person in the world. Buffett, better known as the “Oracle of Omaha,” owns dozens of companies, including Dairy Queen, Geico and Duracell.
Speaking of Buffett, we can’t ignore the fact that he loves fast food, including burgers, ice cream, and soft drinks.
During a 2016 interview with Fortune, Buffett said, “If I eat 2,700 calories a day, a quarter of that is Coca-Cola. I drink at least five 12-ounce (about 350ml) servings. I do it every day.”
It is also reported that Diet Coke was one of the reasons he switched from Pepsi to Coke. For those who don’t know, Buffett has stakes in Coca-cola. This would be one of Berkshire Hathaway’s biggest assets.
For breakfast, Buffett loves eating a hamburger from McDonald’s. According to reports, Buffett has a gold card for a restaurant in Omaha that allows him to have McDonald’s. Other than that, he loves having bowls filled with ice cream and potato chips. Buffett dislikes healthy eating and vegetables, especially broccoli.
Although he is one of the richest people in the world, Buffett is known for his simple lifestyle. Buffett lived in the same house for more than six decades. The billionaire originally bought his Omaha home for $31,500 in 1958. He has worked from the same office since joining his company Berkshire Hathaway in the 1960s.
Unlike other billionaires who splurge on luxury cars, Buffett buys his cars at a discount. The ace investor prefers to buy cars at a discount after being damaged by hail or similar incidents. For a long time, Buffett continued to use his Nokia flip phones even after the next generation smartphones were launched in the market.
