There have been rumors for months that the famous buffet might not return once the pandemic is over – and Hot 107.9 reported on Wednesday that a worker said he would not – but a spokesperson for Popeyes said the restaurant has not made a decision on the buffet’s long-term future.
“The buffet has been closed due to covid restrictions and the restaurant has yet to decide whether or not to reopen the buffet,” Mollie Birer, spokesperson for the restaurant chain, said in an e- mail.
