Summit Galleria Cebu reopens ‘weekend buffet’ after two years

ROBINSONS Hotels and Resorts (RHR) has announced that its all-day restaurant, Cafe Summit Cebu, has recently rolled out its weekend lunch buffet as the country begins to adjust to the new normal.

“We are delighted to welcome back guests to Cafe Summit as we offer our brand of sustainable kitchens in our buffet,” Mau Domingo, the restaurant’s executive chef, said in a statement. “This buffet is an initiative to take the lead in Cebuanos’ premier buffet choice. We ensure that our guests enjoy a safe, relaxing and gourmet dining experience.

RHR, the hospitality arm of Robinsons Land Corp., said Café Summit showcases typical Cebuano dishes and delicacies, contemporary Filipino, Continental and Asian dishes.

The Summit Galleria Hotel Cebu, where the restaurant is located, is the latest commercial establishment to open further post-pandemic after more than two years as restrictions eased further and consumers resumed dining.

The restaurant is open to hotel guests and mall-goers at Robinsons Galleria Cebu.

The weekend lunch buffet, valued at P588 per person, is available Friday through Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

“Café Summit also seeks to rekindle the taste senses of customers as they can watch the kitchen team, under the direction of Executive Chef Mau Dominguez, prepare their dishes from pan to platter,” RHR said.

Café Summit is the first restaurant concept brand of RHR, owned by Gokongwei. (RP)
