Salt Bae: Fast food restaurant creates £100 24-carat burger dripping in gold to rival Nusr-Et
The idea of shelling out for gold-coated steaks would have been far-fetched if Salt Bae hadn’t burst into our lives over the past few years.
Whether you’re a fan of him or not, the trend of gold-coated food has caught on like wildfire.
Now, HullLive reported that a local fast food chain is jumping on the bandwagon and launching a gold leaf burger.

Drug burger now offer guests the chance to indulge in the life of the other half, but for a fraction of the price you would find in London Nusr-Et.
After sharing a video of the dazzling creation on their Facebook page, customers got a glimpse of which burger Salt Bae could take on.
The burger is only £100 – the same price you would find at the Turkish butcher’s restaurant.
Dope Burger caused a storm on social media, hundreds of people rushed in their comments to share their thoughts.
One person wrote: “Nice shot a salt bae, that would kill my bloody fillings lol.
Another said: “Only 100 pounds, I’ll have 2.”
A third commented: ‘I forgot to put gold foil on the Tesco order for your dirty burger! I’m going to use aluminum foil instead!
Although the burger may cost the same as Salt Bae’s, you don’t have to go to a restaurant and pay a service charge, order one of the overpriced extras and sides, and rack up a bill that will cost you an arm and a leg.
