In a message to all customers that was posted on the restaurant’s door, Riverbank thanked regulars for their support over the years.

It read: “We would like to inform you that on Thursday, June 16, our restaurant ceased operations.

“The owner is very sad to leave this place after 18 years of business. Thank you for all your support.”

The restaurant’s closure comes after Fatso’s announced it was looking for a new location following the closure of its Riverside site at the end of last week.

Along the same road, Bella Italia has confirmed that they are moving their restaurant down the road to a larger venue that once housed Las Iguanas towards the end of the summer.
