Summer vacation may be coming, but do you want the holiday mood to take over your McDonald’s? In what the fast-food chain calls “its most exciting summer menu,” there’s a distinct Mediterranean flair to the new menu.
Kicking off with a taste of Italy, starting Wednesday June 8th (a theme that will continue until Tuesday July 26th), Maccies fans will then change direction with a menu inspired by the cuisine of Spain and Cyprus from Wednesday July 27 and continuing until Tuesday September 6.
So what can we expect? An Italian Stack is the first for burger lovers. The famous burger joint says that for £5.39 fans can indulge in two 100% beef patties, topped with mozzarella, crispy onions, a rich tomato sauce, lettuce and a creamy cheese, all served in a tomato-style bun and freshly grilled herbs. .

Next on the list is a Crispy Chicken Italiano, which will again set you back £5.39. The chicken tenderloin is topped with a slice of tomato, mozzarella, basil pesto style sauce, red onions and lettuce served in a freshly toasted soft ciabatta style bun.
Next is the hot treat for cheese lovers – yes Mozzarella Dippers will be returning and they are priced at £1.99 per serving or £5.39 Sharebox. Of course, what’s a summer McDonald’s without McFlurry – and the new range gives an Italian-inspired makeover – the Tiramisu McFlurry at £1.19 Mini or £1.69 Regular.
The culinary tour then heads to Spain from July 27 and the first is a The Spicy Spanish Stack for those who I like a little spicy. At the price of £5.39 you will get two 100% beef patties, cheddar chili, red onion, spicy tomato sauce and lettuce served in a hot paprika bun.
Chicken dishes are also spicy. The £5.39 Chicken Fiesta features a crispy chicken fillet topped with chorizo, chilli cheddar, spicy tomato sauce, red onion and lettuce served in a warm toasted chilli and paprika bun. Finally, Halloumi Fries is a new addition (£2.49 Single or £6.49 Sharebox).
