Catering Insight – Venta launches flexible induction buffet system

The German brand Venta, known for its modular induction buffets, is launching an alternative to its standard range with the new Vario induction hob system.

Vario is designed to offer flexible and variable use of induction heat to keep food warm by allowing free positioning of induction units in the hob.

While the Stage induction hob has four field induction zones as standard, the Vario system offers the option of using one, two, three or four induction units in the hob depending on catering requirements. The flexibility is due to the unique metal case (tray) containing an induction unit which can be inserted under the table top.

The Vario system is available in different table sizes from 800mm to 1,960mm in length.

Venta believes that the main benefit of the Vario induction hob system is that operators choose the number of induction units needed for their events.

The invisible under counter induction is operated by the front control panel and, since there is no surface marking on the table top to show the induction areas, the table can be used for the display all day.

As with any Venta system, the tables are height adjustable and on casters for easy movement or storage.

The Venta brand is supplied in the UK by Signature FSE.
