Recently on a trip across the Forked River, I noticed the old site of the old Forked River Buffet, but it was cleared and fenced. I’m just seeing this? It’s funny how sometimes you don’t notice things. The old Forked River Buffet had been closed for a while, but now it has been demolished and cleaned up.

At one point the old Forked River Buffet was very popular, but over time it seemed to fade and ended up going dark and never reopened.

So now the question is what’s next for the site of the old Forked River Buffet? Is there already a plan or is it just waiting for someone to come and start a new business there?

This location is obviously along a very busy section of Route 9 and has a lot of traffic and potential customers. Since the previous restaurant did not continue, you must be wondering if a future business should be a restaurant? Although a different style with a new building could make a difference.

So to recap… now that the old Forked River Buffet site is cleared, what’s the plan? Is there already a plan for this location? Is this still pending for the future of this site? What do YOU think is needed in this section of Forked River? What would you put in this place? Let’s go through a few ideas and see what people think here in Ocean County.

A man was banned from a barbecue buffet restaurant in Changsha City, China for eating a huge amount of food, even though the company advertises itself as “all you can eat.”

According to New York Post, the food blogger and live streamer known as Mr. Kang is now blacklisted at Handadi Seafood BBQ Buffet. “I can eat a lot, is that a fault? He asked after finding out he was banned from the restaurant.

On his first time at the buffet, he reportedly ate over 3.3 pounds of pig’s trotters. On another visit, he told Hunan TV that he had eaten eight pounds of shrimp. Either way, Kang thinks Handadi is “discriminating” by forbidding him to eat anything he can, as the place promotes. He also noted that he had not wasted any food.

The restaurant owner says he lost money feeding Kang. “Every time he comes here, I lose a few hundred yuan,” the owner told Hunan TV. “Even when he drinks soy milk, he can drink 20 or 30 bottles. When he eats the pig’s trotters, he consumes the whole tray. And for shrimp, people usually use tongs to pick them up, he uses a tray to pick them all up.

Now the owner has also decided to blacklist all livestreamers. The move follows China’s decision to start restricting food influencers last year, with the government even seeking a massive ban on such videos in the country.
