Fast food giant Tim Hortons will soon open a new store in Dunstable.
The Canadian chain – which specializes in a variety of donuts and coffees – has announced that it will open a new drive-through restaurant in Dunstable and Milton Keynes West.
Plans online have revealed the restaurant will open inside Pizza Hut’s former location in Dunstable’s White Lion Retail Park.

The exact opening date for the Dunstable Cafe and Donut Shop is yet to be confirmed, but is said to be “coming soon”.
Located at White Lion Retail Park, the new Dunstable restaurant will offer seating for up to 119 people and customers will be able to enjoy the brand’s best-selling items.

It will also be the first Tim Hortons to open in Bedfordshire.
The new restaurant will create 50 jobs for the local community with full-time and part-time positions available with “awesome progression and training opportunities”.
On Twitter, the chain said: “That’s right, we have two more new drive-thru restaurants soon! Milton Keynes, you get another location in Westcroft, and Dunstable this will be your first!
“We’ll announce opening dates later, so keep an eye out for more!”

When they open, they will be among the first Tim Hortons locations in the Southeast.
Sites have already opened in Milton Keynes (Buckinghamshire) and Harlow (Essex), and new sites are expected to open soon in Braintree (Essex), Thurrock (Essex) and Ipswich (Suffolk).

“Our location in Dunstable is not only in the perfect location for the local community, but also close to Luton and Hertfordshire.”
He added: “We are really making a name for ourselves in the area, with the announcement of our second opening just 30 minutes away in Milton Keynes. We successfully launched our first restaurant here less than a year ago, so know that there is a lot of demand in the area.
