Manager Wasim Aslam says its popular daily buffet – available seven days a week – is one of the reasons the business recently expanded its operations to Garforth, nearly doubling its covers to 250 seats.

He said: “We opened here in 1993 and are proud to have grown with the community. I recognize a lot of second and third generation customers. It feels like home.

“It used to be the old East Garforth Nursery School and it’s been so popular we extended it last year. So it’s now a 250 seat restaurant and we have about 100 parking spaces. The parking is therefore not a problem.

“We started doing the buffet here seven days a week because that’s what our customers wanted, as well as the a la carte menu. They like the buffet because they can choose from a variety of foods, rather than to choose one or two dishes. We’re always adding new dishes, offering even more choices and we change the menu every three or four days, so that people don’t get bored and there are plenty of variety.

“We have bestsellers, house and chef’s specials including traditional Indian dishes and homemade dishes. Even that is on the buffet, so if you want to try some very traditional dishes, they are also there for you.

“And it’s not just about the food. We want to create an experience where people have a full dining experience – we also have cocktails, international gins and international beers, crafts and IPAs. We now selling beer from Kirkstall Brewery, just down the road from here, including a gluten-free beer.

“A lot has changed over the years, but our commitment to quality at all levels of the business has not changed. Our customers come back to us for our consistent quality of great food and excellent customer service.”
