A mysterious man distributes hundreds to fast food workers
What would you do with a hundred more right now? I would put it towards some of the fancy kitchen gadget readers recommended in the comments of this post. Or, you know, my rent. Recently, fast food workers in Fall River, Massachusetts made a quick buck thanks to a mystery man who flooded local businesses with hundred dollar bills.
Local press briefing Fall River Reporter to the story. the Journalist interviewed Vanessa Bly, who works at a sandwich shop and was initially wary of the mysterious benefactor. “I was actually nervous because it’s weird to have a random person asking if it was just me and my colleague working, and if not, how many others were here,” Bly said. to Journalist. “I told him there were four of us, and he reached into his pocket, pulled out a wad of cash, counted out four $100 bills, put them behind my plexiglass, and said he wanted everyone of us getting one – he would watch – and have a nice day.
Now, there have been reports that the mystery man has stopped by to distribute money to many other businesses. One report comes from a neighborhood of Wendy’s, where he allegedly gave each of the workers a $100 bill before handing out another two hundred dollars to waiting customers and thanking them for their patience. He has also been spotted at a Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Five Guys, Stop and Shop and Supercuts. (A report alleges he walked into a McDonald’s in Fall River, but the general manager wouldn’t allow the workers to accept the money. Boo!)
Now the Journalist hopes to discover the identity of the man. “We have also been told two different descriptions of the man, so it is possible that he is not a mystery man, but mystery men,” the publication adds, asking that all advice be emailed to info @fallriverreporter.com.
